So it has been a month since I have updated my blog (fail!). I am going to try to post updates more often this month. I´m going to cheat with this blog though, and send you to Meghan´s blog. She is my fellow volunteer/roommate who I flew into Mexico with from Seattle two months ago. She attended Western University and is a true, granola, GreatNorthWest girl. She is a wonderful photographer and has a really nice camera, so I think you will enjoy all of the photos on her blog. She has pictures of our hiking trip in the beautiful city of Tepoztlan (8/13) and our relaxing day in downtown Cuernavaca (8/14). Enjoy!
I have also made a picasa album of my favorite pictures taken of the kids this summer. You can read about summer activities at NPH Mexico here. There´s also a picture in this album of Father Wasson (the founder of NPH) in the the 1970´s, giving a tour of the orphanage in Mexico to John Wayne and Raquel Welch. Pretty cool! On August 16th, we celebrated the 5th anniversary of his ascencion from this world. Read more here.
